Ben McGregor – Owner/Head Coach
Ben has 20 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and a Strength and Conditioning coach, working with high school, college and professional athletes.
He opened CrossFit Timpanogos in 2010 with the mission to provide a fun and educational environment, where people leave the gym feeling like their time in the gym is the best part of their day.
His goal is to give everyone that comes into his gym the ability to excel in their chosen activities, and to live energetic, pain-free lives.

Tracy Hernandez – Coach/Oly Lifting
Tracy joined her first CrossFit gym in Logan in 2009 after completing a triathlon and realizing that, even with all that triathlon training, she was still out of shape. She quickly became addicted as she watched her fitness level increase significantly and for the first time since playing rugby in college felt like an “athlete” again. She and her husband were two of the first members to join CrossFit Timpanogos when they moved to Highland in 2010, and Tracy got certified as a coach in 2011.
CrossFit also introduced Tracy to the sport of Olympic weightlifting. She started doing more focused training on the snatch and clean & jerk, and competed in her first local Olympic lifting meet in 2013. In 2017 she set two state records in her age/weight class for Clean & Jerk and Total, and tied for third at a national meet, the American Open, the same year. Tracy is also certified as a USA Weightlifting (USAW) coach.

Jenny Franson – Coach/Nutritionist
Anyone that knows Jenny, knows that she has always had a passion for fitness and sports. She was a 4-sport athlete in high school and competed in track and field as a Heptathlete at Utah State University where she graduated with a BS in Physical Education.
She was introduced to CrossFit by her brother, Ben, in April of 2010 when he first opened the gym. CrossFit has provided an amazing avenue for her to continue her quest for health and fitness and to share this passion with others. She is very approachable and brings a great energy to our gym. It is easy to see that she loves CrossFit, but most importantly she loves the community of CrossFit that she gets to rub shoulders with every day!!

Brenda Brailsford – Coach/Nutritionist
Coach B grew up in Utah spending most of her life as a dancer and a gymnast. Later into
adulthood she lost sight of her health and had become what she calls a skinny/fat smoker. Many times trying to work back to an active lifestyle only to fail when she would get bored or lose sight of her goals. After years of many failed attempts of sticking with a healthy lifestyle a friend introduced her to CrossFit.
Nothing could have prepared her for the positive impact CrossFit would have on her.
She had finally found something that changed her view on her health and made her want to
stick with it. CrossFit soon put her in the best physical and mental shape of her life.
Coach B has a love of people a passion for nutrition and fitness. She loves everything CrossFit, cooking and can never get enough dancing! She hopes to inspire others to find their happiness and inner strength so that they might discover what they are truly capable of.
